While there are some complaints about the skis being on the heavier side and them not being the quickest out on the market, let’s take a closer look at the Nordica Enforcer 93 and then you can decide if these are the right match for you.

Nordica Enforcer 93 Skis: The Details

Feature

Energy 2 Titanium Wood Core

The Nordica Enforcer 93 skis are made with a full wood core and include two sheets of metal over the edges of each ski.

This means your edges will grip and you won’t be skidding across the snow and ice (or falling). The wood and metal construction also makes these skis more stable and powerful.

Finally, the solid core will provide shock absorption, so you can count on a smooth ride.

Early Rise Tip and Tail Rocker

The Enforcer 93s also feature an early-rise rocker tip that makes it much easier to set an edge.

These skis are made so that turning and maneuvering around the slopes are simple and effortless. The tail is slightly turned up, which gives you more control and allows you to easily release your ski from a turn.

And, as always, rockered skis usually mean you will be able to float over soft snow and not be shoveling it with the tip of your ski.

Hammerhead Nose

The low, broad, blunt tip shape on each Enforcer 93 ski means more of the edge hits the snow.

The more of the edge that connects with the snow, the more stable you are going to be. The more stable you are, the less vibration you’ll feel as you ski.

With the titanium wood core construction and the hammerhead nose at the tip, you will be less likely to feel chatter or any of the bumps you hit along the trail.

ABS Sidewalls

This is what gives the Nordic Enforcer 93 Skis a little extra oomph and stability when skiing at higher speeds.

This also allows the skis to be more durable, making it easier on the skis when taking on hard bumps from rails, while stiffening your torsion and giving you a more of an edge grip.

The Positives

Smooth Ride

The Enforcer 93 skis provide you with a very silky ride. They are damp, so you don’t feel much vibration overall.

You don’t have to worry about your body feeling all that movement – or your muscles being sore as a result, which can put a wet blanket on an otherwise fun weekend.

It will be like driving a car with good shocks, where you can’t feel all the potholes in the road.

Stable at High Speeds

No matter how fast you want to go, the Enforcer 93 skis will be able to handle it. You can charge through the snow and these skis will stay agile and turn on a dime.

Since the Enforcer 93s come with the blunted, hammerhead tip shape, and each of them has the rocker shape, you will be able to initiate turns much easier than with other skis.

For that matter, you can even make figure eights if you want!

Works on a Variety of Snow

The Nordica Enforcer 93 also works great on groomers. A groomer is simply snow that has been groomed to ski on.

If you are at certain ski resorts, this is probably what you will encounter on your adventures. They usually use a machine to groom the snow.

The Enforcer 93s also work great on harder-packed snow as well as powder and softer snow. Most of the conditions you are going to come across will work with these skis.

Whether you get to your ski area of choice hours after it stops snowing or days, these will get you through whatever conditions you happen to be dealing with.

Easy to Maneuver with Little Loss of Control

These skis are meant to handle high speeds, but that doesn’t make them any harder to control. As long as you’re okay with handling a little bit of weight, these skis are definitely forgiving.

This is also what makes it great for those moving past the beginner stages, as they won’t have to worry too much about any loss of control, especially when handling stiffer snow.

Reliability and Durability

Given the construction of these skis, one step on to them and you’ll be reassured they are built to last. Its ability to handle a variety of conditions, including ice, gives skiers the chance to fly with confidence.

You can rely on these skis to take you from your usual slopes or on vacation easily, as they are ready to adapt.

The construction is strong, sturdy, and made up of high-quality material so you won’t have to worry about many hiccups coming your way.

And if all else fails, well there’s always a warranty.

One-Year Warranty

If something does happen to be wrong with your skis when you get them, the Nordica Enforcer 93 skis do come with a one-year warranty.

If your skis are broken, chipped, or something is defective when they arrive, you have a good amount of time to either send your skis back and get a refund or exchange them for a new pair.

While no one wants there to be anything wrong when they buy something (especially something as expensive as skis), having the guarantee that you will be helped if there is an issue can give you great peace of mind.

Constant Award Winner

If we haven’t already said enough on the many pros about these skis, it has also received a number of awards, year after year, commending its build and performance.

With each update, these skis only get better, being featured in a number of magazines and web platforms as one of the best skis out there.

It is one of the most recommended skis by experts and sporting stores as its a great compromise between novice and advanced skiers.

These skis have been awarded by Ski Magazine, Skiing Magazine, and Freeskier and are still making their way around enthusiast platforms.

Here’s a look at the Nordica Enforcer 93 Skis in action.

The Negatives

Heavier

Our testers were sure to state how much heavier these skis felt versus others. While this may make some skiers feel more stable, heavier skis can be an issue.

It can make a lot of people – even experts – feel like they are being weighed down, and even more importantly, the skis may have problems when handling some soft snow.

Finally, it may also make it more difficult to turn and maneuver, which can be troublesome in a variety of conditions.

Not for Off-Trail Skiing

While you may be able to ski on groomers and even on hard snow, these skis are not really for off-trail (or off-piste) use.

The Enforcer 93 skis are not made for the roughness and unpredictability that comes with the snow and terrain in off-trail areas.

If you are a mostly the adventurous or thrill-seeking type who likes to go off the beaten path, these aren’t the skis for you.

Not for Moguls

Additionally, these skis may have numerous advantages, but they’re not at their best when on moguls. As these are heavier skis, this is probably self-explanatory.

When you are going over moguls or trying to dodge them right and left, a heavier ski is not going to be able to turn, move, and pivot as well as a lighter ski could. Sorry, mogul-lovers.

Not for Beginners

As stated at the start of this review, this is not really an advanced ski, but it is also not right for beginners either.

It is too advanced for beginners but doesn’t have enough durability and stability for rougher terrain that can come with the kind of skiing more advanced skiers appreciate.

So, all that said, we think the Enforcer 93 works best with a more aggressive skier than with someone who is just beginning.

Overall Verdict

Considering all the positives and negatives, we are recommending the Nordica Enforcer 93 skis for anyone who is beyond a beginner.

While the skis do provide a smooth ride and perform on a variety of terrains, there were quite a few testers who found that these skis work best with a more experienced skier behind them.

Specifically, one who is also going to stay on the beaten path and who doesn’t prefer soft snow. A beginner may feel intimidated by their weight and their strength.

  1. Hi, I bought this ski Enforcer 93, 185cm. I skied on them the first time last weekend. They were excellent. However, the ski edges are rusting !!! I just put them in the car boot after my skiing, drove for 7 hours and found the rust eating the sharp edges and rusty water in my boot. I have never seen this in my 45 years of skiing. What sort of metal do they use for the edges?
