Poplar/Beech Core: The mix of woods at the core of each allows them to be lightweight, easy to turn, and able to grip even on the hardest-packed snow.

The poplar wood ensures you aren’t feeling too much vibration coming through the skis, while the beech wood makes the skis sturdy even when you are landing after doing tricks.

Die-Cut PTEX 3000 Base: This base material is used on most of Faction’s skis. It is used to make the skis porous and allows the ski to hold wax well.

This base also allows you to go super fast while still being stable. You can’t ask for much more than that!

Design

Microcap construction: The different materials that make up the Prodigy are sandwiched together, allowing for ultimate edge hold.

The topsheet on each ski also wraps all the way to the sidewalls, making these skis incredibly durable.

You won’t have to worry about them chipping when you are going through the roughest snow. This also helps reduce the overall weight of the skis.

Rocker/Camber/Rocker: The Prodigy skis are rockered at the tips and tails. This makes sure that you will be able to go through the cruddiest of snow as well as hard-packed groomers.

With a 350 mm of rocker in the tip, 2 mm of camber underfoot, and 330 mm of rocker in the tail, you are guaranteed a great ride on whatever terrain is in front of you.

Sidewalls: The sidewalls on the Prodigy, along with the wood core, allow you to have the maximum edge grip. This means you will feel completely stable on these skis.
